How to Grow Kesar Mango Plant
Simple Steps for Successful & Healthy Growth.
Step 1 – Unpack Carefully
Gently remove the plant from the packaging. Keep the root ball intact and avoid damaging the graft union.
Step 2 – Prepare the Pit
Dig a pit about 2 ft × 2 ft × 2 ft. Mix the excavated soil with well-rotted compost or organic manure.
Step 3 – Place the Plant
Remove the grow bag carefully and place the plant in the center of the pit. Keep the graft union above the soil level.
Step 4 – Fill & Firm the Soil
Fill the pit with the prepared soil mixture. Press the soil gently around the roots to remove air pockets.
Step 5 – Water Thoroughly
Water the plant immediately after planting. Keep the soil moist but avoid waterlogging.
Step 6 – Support & Care
Tie the plant to a stake for support. Apply mulch around the base and place the plant where it receives 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
Step 7 – Regular Maintenance
Water regularly, fertilize with organic manure every 30–45 days, remove weeds, and prune dry or damaged branches for healthy growth.
