Grow Beautiful Blooms with Ease
Simple Spider Lily Bulb Plantation Guide
Step 1 – Select Healthy Bulb
Choose firm, healthy bulbs with visible roots or fresh shoots. Avoid soft, damaged, or rotten bulbs.
Step 2 – Prepare the Pot
Use a medium to large pot with drainage holes, or choose a well-drained garden bed.
Step 3 – Prepare the Soil
Fill the pot with a well-draining mix of garden soil, compost, cocopeat, and coarse sand or perlite.
Step 4 – Plant the Bulbs
Plant each bulb 5–8 cm deep with the pointed end facing upward. Keep 10–15 cm spacing between bulbs.
Step 5 – Water Gently
Water thoroughly after planting to settle the soil. Keep the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged.
Step 6 – Provide Sunlight
Place the pot in full sun to partial shade. Around 4–6 hours of sunlight daily encourages healthy growth.
Step 7 – Feed the Plant
Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every 3–4 weeks during the growing season for vigorous foliage and flowering.
Step 8 – Watch It Bloom
With proper care, lush green leaves will develop first, followed by spectacular spider-like flowers in a vibrant mix of colors.
